It's been a long time coming and the lady loft living room is almost complete! Today I am sharing the living room portion of the loft sponsored by Raymour and Flanigan. I am so happy I partnered with these guys because I had no idea how great their quality was and the best part, it's affordable!

It's really hard to express enthusiasm online through words but I LOVE my Lady Loft. When I tell you that I look forward to watching my three TV shows on Hulu during a 5 hour binge marathon, this loft living room provides the perfect peaceful spot for me.
Loft Living Room Ideas
If you have been following along, you know that this space at one point was my son's bedroom and Xbox/hangout space for him and his friends. Well that didn't go over so well as bedtime was a nightmare. He felt like he was in a different house all alone.
I think when he gets older, he will most likely regret the decision to move into my "old office" but that's ok.

At some point this year, I am hoping to add a new really amazing BIG chandelier and faux rustic beams.
I haven't suggested the rustic beams yet to my dad but how hard can it be right?
Loft Living Room Furniture
The furniture quality, design and texture is absolutely perfect and I couldn't be happier with how this room turned out.
You may remember that my dad and I built a closet into the knee wall about a month ago to provide closed storage. I have to admit, the closet idea was a good one, even though my dad thought it was completely unnecessary.

The Lady Loft serves as a TV space and my office.
Kind of a spot out of the way from all the hubbud from the rest of the house as it's on the 3rd floor and out of the way. The Xbox and "teen hangout" space as been booted to the basement but those little rugrats (my son and his friends) seem to think that my Lady Loft is cool and a good space for movies.
I see a teen space makeover coming soon in the basement because I need to get rid of them!
Raymour and Flanigan has a great sectional selection and living room furniture for every budget. This sectional is so reasonably priced I almost thought it was a mistake on the tag.
It's soft, stain resistant, super comfy and gorgeous! The transitional design is cutting edge and will be perfect for seasonal decorative changes. You all know I love to swap out decor!
I decided to coordinate their barn farmhouse style barn X design media console and coffee table with a more modern styled accent chair.
Loft decorating ideas on a budget
I knew I needed neutral pop of color and casual pattern and this accent chair couldn't have been more perfect. Soft blues and grays paired with a hint of blush via the throw pillows was the exact contrast I was looking for.
And who isn't dying over the canine themed pillows!?
They came with the couch along with the black checkered and diamond throw pillows and you guys, I NEVER like the throw pillows that come with living room furniture. The graphic canine throw pillows add a pop of whimsy and casual elegance to the sectional. I think they are so fun!
The side table is the match to the coffee table and I love the storage option inside.
Loft Style Living
I wanted a lot of greenery in the lady loft living room as it is fairly large at 600 square feet and honestly, the existing white paint color on the walls (I will be changing that when I am really motivated to paint) appears stark and sterile.
Greenery "faux and real" is the perfect, most economical way, to bring life to a space.
When you are dealing with slanted or a sloped ceiling, living room furniture placement can be tricky. I wanted the living room and office space to be separate and that isn't always the easiest thing to accomplish in a wide open space.
When we added the closet with french doors, it provided a nook for my office and the sectional provided a "boundary line" for the tv space.
The office reveal and closet makeover will be shared soon along with a full shot of the space all tied together. I am thinking about adding grasscloth wallpaper in the nook part and possibly over the closet wall.
I did a faux finish on the closet wall which I am not sure I love (tough to see in these pictures) so why not cover it with wallpaper right?
